VidaCaixa – Las Vueltas Que Da La Vida

For five consecutive years, VidaCaixa has established “Las vueltas que da la vida” as one of the most successful branded content platforms in Spain’s insurance sector. For its fifth edition, the company once again partnered with BidBalance, its media buying agency, with a clear objective: to take the campaign’s impact and visibility to the next level.

The answer was a large-scale 360° activation, bringing together more than 35 advertising formats and 20 technologies and platforms working in sync. The campaign reached its highest level of visibility with a landmark takeover of Madrid’s Atocha railway station, placing VidaCaixa at the centre of public attention.

A Media Architecture Designed to Maximise Impact

BidBalance developed the media plan as a 360° ecosystem with a functional rather than linear approach. Every format, channel and environment played a distinct role within the campaign journey, from building awareness to driving qualified traffic.

Connected TV expanded reach through high-impact video storytelling. Digital formats maximised engagement and audience targeting, while out-of-home media reinforced contextual presence and brand recall in high-footfall environments. The campaign’s success was not driven by the volume of impressions alone, but by the strategic orchestration of channels, minimising overlap and maximising overall media efficiency.

This approach ensured a consistent brand presence throughout the campaign without causing ad fatigue, thanks to an intelligent mix of formats and frequency management. Rather than simply maximising exposure, the strategy was designed to create a continuous flow of meaningful, high-impact brand interactions.

Atocha: The Ultimate Expression of an Integrated Media Strategy

The campaign reached its highest level of visibility with a large-scale brand takeover at Madrid Puerta de Atocha station. Throughout February, the station was transformed into a fully branded environment for VidaCaixa, where the media strategy came to life at its most ambitious scale.

The activation combined a large-format banner in the station’s central concourse, digital screens across the commuter rail entrances, a DOOH network positioned along the busiest passenger routes, and a layer of geo-targeted display advertising that extended the campaign experience beyond the physical environment.

A Fake Out of Home (FOOH) execution completed the activation, bringing the station takeover into digital channels and amplifying the campaign’s reach and storytelling far beyond the physical space..

Results That Delivered — and Raised the Bar

The fifth edition delivered the strongest results in the campaign’s history, generating 582 million impressions and 4.7 million clicks, comfortably exceeding its performance targets. More importantly, the real success lay beyond the scale. Compared with the previous edition, CPC decreased by 50%, while engagement increased by 52%.

These results were not simply the outcome of the media mix, but of the operating model behind it. The ongoing partnership between VidaCaixa and BidBalance—built on transparency, agility and collaborative decision-making—enabled continuous optimisation of media investment and real-time adjustments to the strategy based on the performance of each format.
